Municipalities play a crucial role in the process of integrating SDGs in the processes of development and implementation of local policies.
Recognizing the importance of localizing the SDGs in order to improve the economic, social and environmental situation for all citizens of the municipality, this paper serves as a guideline that facilitates the process of integration of the SDGs by the local administration in the development and implementation of sustainable policies, which contributes to the implementation of Agenda 2030 in general.
This guideline is dedicated to the local administration, but the paper can also be used by all other interested parties for understanding their role towards the development of local policies and processes for sustainable development.
