Institute for Development Policy (INDEP) together with the United Nations Team in Kosovo (UNKT) and UN Women Kosovo held the 6th event of the SDG Brunch edition, discussing the need for greater involvement of women in science and technology. At the same time, this event marked the International Women Day in Science in Kosovo.
Besides the occasional remarks given by the UN Women Kosovo’s Head of Office and INDEP’s Executive Director, two success stories of women and girls involved in the science and technology sector were presented. The honorary guest of this event was the Speaker of the Parliament in the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Vjosa Osmani, who pledged her support and commitment to women and girls attending STEM studies during her mandate.
This event was co-organized by the Institute for Development Policy (INDEP), UN Kosovo Team and UN Women Kosovo.
