For the first time in Kosovo, INDEP held the ‘Kosovo School for Girls Aiming Public Office’, one of its kind in our country. While aiming to promote gender equality, the advantages of equal involvement of women and men in public life and decision-making processes, and the empowerment of young girls in general, over the course of 3 months, this school brought together 15 girls determined to pursue a future professional career in public sector.
This school gave them the opportunity to meet few of the most successful women of public sector who have made enormous contributions to local and central Kosovo institutions and at the same time serve are role models that girls should not give up on bringing their dreams into reality. The video that is being launched today demonstrates the experience of some of the girls throughout the attendance of this school and the lessons they learned during this journey.
