Institute for Development Policy (INDEP) and Balkan Green Foundation (BGF), as part of KSDW 2020 and their individual projects in the field of energy efficiency supported by the German Government through the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, Kosovo energy efficiency project, held a panel discussion with representatives of key institutions in the field of energy efficiency. The panel included representatives of the central level, such as the Kosovo Agency for Energy Efficiency and the Kosovo Energy Efficiency Fund, and the municipal level, the Municipality of Klina.

In this event, in addition to the discussion, INDEP and BGF have published their respective research papers on the current situation and practices on mandatory energy efficiency schemes, strengthening the role of the Fund, and upgrading energy efficiency standards in public procurement at the municipal level.
